Study Tour Eastern Slovenia 2026

,

Promotion of the destination combined with building business relations between the Polish and Slovenian tourism industry.

For the Slovenian Tourism Organization, Green House prepared and implemented a three-day Study Tour of Eastern Slovenia. The project was planned as a combination of direct learning about the tourist product with networking and B2B meetings, which were to support the development of new offers addressed to the Polish market.

The event was attended by 29 representatives of the Polish tourism industry. The program included Maribor, Pohorje, the thermal offer and the Jerusalem wine region, showing the variety of experiences that can be combined within one tourist product – from city breaks, active recreation and wellness to gastronomy and enotourism.

The culmination of the Study Tour was a B2B workshop with the participation of 14 partners from Slovenia. Thanks to this formula, the participants first got to know the region, facilities and local products in practice, and then they could talk directly with their representatives about the possibilities of cooperation and the creation of new tourism programs.

The scope of Green House’s activities included:
– development of the project concept,
– recruitment of participants from the Polish tourism industry,
– organization and coordination of the Study Tour program,
– preparation and implementation of B2B workshops,
– cooperation with Slovenian partners,
– communication of the project and PR activities,
– coordination of photo and press materials.

The essence of the project was to move from a classic presentation of a destination to a format supporting specific business cooperation. Participants could not only see the potential of Eastern Slovenia from the perspective of a future customer, but also immediately meet with local partners and talk about the use of the learned products in their offer.

The Study Tour was carried out in cooperation with the Slovenian Tourism Organization, the City of Maribor and Terme Banovci. Transport of participants during the event was provided by Wesley.
